1st Content Digital (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through 1stcontent.co, why, and your rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

What we collect

  • Enquiry details you submit through our contact form: name, email address, company, your interest and your message.
  • Free tool inputs. The Search & AI Visibility Check receives the website address you enter in order to run the check. The ROI calculator and AI readiness check run in your browser and do not send your answers to us.
  • Email correspondence you send us.
  • Technical data such as IP address and browser type, processed by our hosting provider to deliver and secure the site.
  • Where you came from. When you send an enquiry we record the page you sent it from, the page you first landed on and the website that referred you (for example a search engine or an AI assistant), so we can see which content leads to enquiries.

Why we use it

To respond to your enquiry, provide a requested tool result, deliver and secure the website and, where you have asked, send you information about our services. We do not sell personal information.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers who help us run the site and handle enquiries (for example web hosting and email), under appropriate safeguards, or where the law requires it.

Retention and security

We keep enquiry information only as long as needed for the purpose collected or as the law requires, and take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to its processing or withdraw consent, by emailing info@1stcontent.co. You may also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
